Knile is overrated by most of our fans. He had gifted size and speed, yes. But Collins has better vision, shiftiness, and is a more hard-nosed runner. The only place Knile has the advantage is top-end speed, which is an over valued quality for runningbacks.
Knile is well-suited as a backup NFL RB, especially as a change of pace back. But I'm not sure he could be a feature back for a full season.

Dude no.
Knile in his prime, when healthy ala LSU and Sugar bowl 2010 was up there with the best we've had.
He was that good. I'd say he's underrated because he was injured so often.
