I can understand why some are saying it was helmet to helmet, because there was contact between helmets, and Bateman's head bounced off Nkemdiche's dome. But initial contact was shoulder pads to shoulder pads.

Helmets are worn for a reason in a football game and it is not for a weapon but for incidental contact. And incidental is what this was, somtimes the incidental contact is a little more violent than other times, that is why they keep trying to improve them.
