TruE but Sims always had the ability to adapt to the situation with his legs. Neither of these two guys are dynamic in any way. I won't lie I kept waiting for the "real" Blake to show up last year but he did a great job for the most part.

There were plenty Blake Sims outings that were not good, and some that were pretty terrible.

People forget how much Amari bailed him out at times. If you don't believe me, check the stats, or better yet go back and watch how many passes went to nowhere or picks were dropped by defenders.

Coker is the guy this year, and if he can't win it for us, I have a hard time believing any of the others can.

He did just fine in this game, especially for it being his first start.

He didn't do great, but really the whole offense was stagnant and just didn't have the ball hardly at all in the second half. Some drives were also killed by drops.

Obviously he helped saved our arse at the end.

Meh, sure he threw a few bad picks, but you can't really say that he played bad in this game when you look at the whole picture.

Again, our whole offense played bad. Running game was awful. And Blake was responsible for both of our TDs in this game.

This argument sucks.

You just love Coker. Period. The reality is, so far he has proven he ain't that good a QB. He is slow to read, releases the ball slow, stares down receivers and doesn't have great pocket awareness.

The irony is you hate on Blake Sims, like he isn't two or three times the better QB for this team. If Blake had another year, Coker would never see the field until clean up time.

Also, Ohio State would have been won if not for DeAndrew White dropping a perfect 3rd pass which would have gave us a first down. Last I checked every game you mentioned Sims pulled his head out of his arse to win us the game with his ability; with a pretty inconsistent offensive line which is no where near as good as the one Coker keeps giving up 15 yards sacks in this year. The only game you can truly fault him for is Ole Miss, but we would have won that game is OJ would just go up for the ball instead of waiting for the ball to come to him.

I guarantee you if Coker comes out there Saturday night like he did last weekend against MTSU, Saban is pulling him and we all know you'll hate that and whine about it.

WE can focus on Sims and no, he was not perfect but he did give the team the best chance to compete and win from that position.

Also, what about the fumbles by guys like Christion Jones (Ole Miss) or TJ Yeldon (LSU) in key situations? What about the key drops by guys like, again Christion Jones (WVU) or DeAndrew White (Ohio State) as has been mentioned by several posters?

Nobody is perfect, but its clear that the only way Blake would have received universal respect from the fanbase is by being just that. As has been mentioned before, Florida was considered to be Blakes sink or swim game by many folks. He performed extremely well in that game (SEC & Home Opener), so maybe Coker will do the same this weekend. As a Bama fan, I certainly hope so...
