What are the on-the-field reasons why Barnett or Cornwell aren't ready?

Seriously... they can't be as aloof as Coker. We've all heard "Barnett isn't ready." In what way, exactly?
We heard about the Cornwell "incidents" (which seem overblown, all things considered).
Are these two just not SEC material, or are we grooming one of them in an antiquated manner?

Barnett is a freshman.
Cornwell is, apparently, just not better than the other options.
And, also, I think people are overreacting to our QB "problems". I've been saying it all along. They've been decent, and will get better.

It sounded like each of the of the QBs, including Barnett, was given a real chance to show out and win the job in one of the fall scrimmages, but none of them did. Coker didn't do enough to win the job either but gets the nod due to having the most experience (which definitely counts for something at QB IMO). Can't blame the coaches if none of the other guys stepped up and showed they were ready.
