Look Y'all. This may sting now, but If we bounce back to beat the likes of Florida and Georgia, this will be a distant memory. As much as we ALL wanted this, we have to respond. IF WE BUTT sqrew our adversaries and win, this will be forgotten. If we do not, then, we may have to find someone else... I love Butch, but we need to turn this corner. Moral victories do not matter anymore.

Why does this loss sting so bad? You all nearly beat Okla-fricking-homa! You owned them, totally embarrassed them, in the first half.

Butch just took a legendary coach and a legendary program to the wire.

So far, you have the best loss of the season. In my opinion this loss is very positive for the program. Honestly, I see no negatives in this loss.

Butch showed that he can play toe-to-toe with the best. TN will do very well this year.

frick you. I'm being serious.

You took Oklahoma to the fricking wire. How is that a shenanigan? It's impressive.

Quit being a ninny bitch and realize that Butch has developed the program that y'all have been whining about for so long.

You're just too blinded by the loss to see that it was a very good game and that Tennessee played very well. You nearly beat the coach that dominated Alabama a few years ago.

You're attitude is the problem.

The players (as many mistakes as they made) did enough to win this game.

Jones made some bad decisions in my opinion that ended up costing UT the game...(not going for it on the 1/2 yard line; declining penalties that would have put them in very long down & distance situations...but mostly, not making offensive adjustments in the 2nd half).

Perhaps.

But this is only Butch's 3rd year. Stoops has been head coach at Oklahoma forever. Stoops has far more game experience than Butch, yet Butch took Stoops to the wire.

Impressive...in my opinion.

We had the game won. A good coach would have destroyed Oklahoma when they were on the ropes and reeling. They didn't do anything special to get back in the game besides take advantage of a defense that finally broke because they were on the field nearly the entire second half.

Butch is a conservative pussy and had plenty of opportunities to slam the door shut and didn't do so.

I'm not into moral victories at this point but this is not the type of loss you build from imo. This was a terrible loss that makes the fans start to doubt you and rightfully so.

frick, people...give Butch time to build the program for Christ's sake. It's his 3rd fricking year! LOL.
