Spendding a lot of mental energy dwelling on what 'we' need to do to get a better coach is illogical and indicitive of someone with a low IQ and total lack of situational awareness...

As I said in my post, Richt will retire at a time of his own choosing. Never called for a new coach in this thread. My point is that if you won't change out coaches because the new guy could do worse means you would never change coaches and Muschamp for example would still be at Florida. After all he did win some games. The new guy could do worse.

The point with Spurrier and Meyer is that too carried risk. Spurrier was a pro head coach for 3 years and at Duke for 3. He did pretty well so indicators were there but both jobs are very different than coaching at Fla. Then he went on to the "Skins where he failed as Saban failed at Miami. If coaching experience were instantly transferable between jobs, then both would have been wildly successful in the NFL and Muschamp would have been at Fla also - he was the hot candidate too.

The landscape is littered with coaches that were successful one place or more and failed at their new post. Littered. So, to say the Spurrier and Myer carried no risk is foolish.

The reason I compared to Pelini is that it seemed the primary criteria of RD Dawg is regular season wins and that is OK if that floats his boat.

It has been a decade since we won the SEC. A decade.

The bottom line is what do you want out of the program. What are your goals?

When did I ever say that there was "no risk"?You're the one that stated there was a "ton of risk"

Since when?Jesus dude,do you have ANY idea of the restrictions of our program compared to UT,Bama,LSU,
or AU.We've NEVER had the numbers of any of those programs. You do know that I would assume?

I want our program to maximize EVERY advantage we have within the rules.

CMR has been to the SECCG 1/3 of his time as our coach.Only Saban has a higher percentage.

OK,so you don't want to get rid of CMR but you just want to bitch about everything in the program?Correct?

Please give me solutions/replacedments you'd like to make?
