so you've won for three straight seasons

Still 4 games in a row, which is what he said

because LSU wasn't playing at full strength

Amari Cooper didn't play 3/4 of the game in 2012
Kenyan Drake didn't play last year. Who was LSU missing?

Those are early entrants to the NFL from the past 3 drafts. 15 for LSU and 9 for Alabama (12 and 6 in the last two years, respectively). Truth be told, it's not surprising that Alabama has come out on top the last three years given the talent drain going on in Baton Rouge. What is surprising is that the game has been decided in the final minute 2/3 times.

It's not rocket science. In the years where Alabama has the more talented roster, Alabama wins. In the years where LSU has the more talented roster, LSU wins.

2007 - LSU
2008 - Alabama
2009 - Alabama
2010 - LSU
2011 - Push
2012 - Alabama
2013 - Alabama
2014 - Alabama
2015 - LSU
