Is there any doubt that Cam is tGOAT? Name another player who can win a national championship all by himself

Well that doesn't speak well for all the teams they beat that year, does it?
Well, in all fairness to those teams, $Cam was a once in a lifetime talent. He single-handedly won games for that team. Plus Fairley was AN ABSOLUTE BEAST!!!
Both were TPOS and AU loses 4-5 games without those two that year...

Name one that did.

Outside of $cam and Fairley the 2010 team just wasn't that good, experienced yes, but talented no. In my opinion this years auburn team is much better defensively and at the skill positions as well, except TE.
Well...yes and no. Cam and Fairley were 2 dominant, once in a decade (at least) type players...and there weren't any other players even close...but the rest of the team was certainly solid. OL in particular but that team produced several successful NFL players as well like Corey Lemon-YAY! and Josh Bynes. And Darvin Adams didn't have the combination of size/speed needed to succeed in the NFL, in the SEC, he was straight money. Also, another thing overlooked on that team was the number of upperclassmen WR's that were generally reliable and excellent blockers. It was a solid team with two GREAT players.
I agree on your 2015 assessment though for sure.

What did the team do the year after when the two good players went pro?

According to many internet posters, Cam was responsible for Auburn's 2010 championship all by himself.

That should be obvious. Chizik and crew inherited a team in 2009 that did not have the level of talent that AU teams are accustomed to having. Tubs didn't exactly kill it on recruiting trail his last couple of years.
That 2010 team was special b/c that o-line really gelled, the QB play was phenomenal, the RB play was very strong, the D-line put pressure on QBs every week, and special teams could be counted on consistently.
This AU team is more talented, though.

Only 4 players were drafted, and 2 are not worth talking about (Clayton is a career backup and Ziemba has been on injured reserve for four years).
So yeah, really it boils down to 2 players who were exceptionally talented (Newton, Fairley). Thanks for asking so I could reiterate that point.

You mean something like "You boogs run a gimmicky, Mickey Mouse, arena league offense, with your overrated high school coach". Is this what you were looking for?

Another way of stating the same claim:
2010 Auburn was one of the least talented national championship teams ever, at least in terms of the number of elite (i.e., drafted) players on the team.

I don't have the time to research, but I'd be curious to see that data.
But there are a lot of GOOD college players that never make it in the NFL because of whatever reasons. It doesn't mean they weren't talented or play their roles well. As stated before in this thread, that OL was exceptional.
