What about other players? How was LF in conference? Pharaoh Cooper? Dak? Jamal Adams? Derrick Henry? Leonard Floyd? VH3? Guys who are big time players in this conference

This is a discussion about Myles Garrett and his overratedness (I know that's not a word). His closest comparison is Derek Barnett, a true soph that started as a true freshman at the same position as MG. Evidence shows Barnett does better against tougher competition than Garrett. What does a bunch of offensive players stats have to do with anything?

He is gonna have a heck of a year if Lael Collins didnt do any permanent damage to his back. I didnt know a spine could bend that far back and not break, his flexibility is incredible.

No he's closest comparison is every DE in the league. People spout off his non p5 vs p5 stats as if it's some shock that he did better against bad teams. Barnett did very well against his conference opponent, which to be fair were probably not as good as Myles'. I'm not knocking Barnett or saying Myles is better. I'm just saying if what Myles did last season is considered overrated for a true freshman in the toughest division in sports, then maybe the definition we are using for overrated is a bit off.
