The SEC as a whole was an afterthought until Frank Broyles brought in the Hogs. Our inclusion is what made this conference relevant.

You're welcome

Is this a joke?

Arkansas has only finished in the AP Top 25 during five seasons out of 23 since they joined the league.

Top 25 finishes since 1992:

17- Florida
16- Georgia
15- Alabama
14- Auburn
14- LSU
13- Tennessee

Others:
10- Texas A&M
7- Missouri
7- Ole Miss
6- South Carolina
6- Mississippi State
5- Arkansas

South Carolina has been more relevant since joining the SEC than the Hogs.

If you don't want to look at "Finishes" in the Top 25, then look at the total number of weeks each program has been ranked in the Top 25 since 1992:

329- Florida
269- Georgia
263- Alabama
261- LSU
237- Tennessee
222- Auburn
-----------------------
202- Texas A&M
115- South Carolina
101- Missouri
96- Mississippi State
89- Arkansas
65- Ole Miss

To me, if you are ranked in the Top 25 than you are relevant.

Any parameter than one might look at produces the same result: The "Big 6" lead the pack, and Texas A&M follows closest behind. But there is a clear Top 6.

South Carolina has been a more relevant addition to the conference than Arkansas.
