If this is true and Drew Lock will indeed play QB for Mizzou this year...the SEC is super frickED!
Mizzou will win a national championship with Drew Lock.
ETA: Mizzou staff is leaking info that indicates that Drew Lock is the best QB that they've ever seen. He has completely dominated scrimmages while apparently Mauk hasn't progressed from last year.

I have heard that rumor as well. I think it is true.
And Killz is not joking. The local scribes are saying Lock is the best they have seen at Mizzou.

If/then statements shouldn't be used in this context. LSU fans made the same mistake. "If _____ wins the starting job, then the SEC is fukkkkt." Why should be worried if it's a questionable situation in the first place?

I know they have been saying hes the best freshmen in the past 15 years, but to burn it means they think he will be playing at 1 point, this season.

Mizzou fans have weird love hate relationships with their long term starting QBs.
You guys hated on James Franklin too in his last season and said Mauk was the future.
Now Mauk is garbage and Drew Lock is the future.

Similar to 2013 with Franklin and Mauk. except that even as a freshman Lock is probably better than both.

Agree. Otherwise why do it? Unless it's to keep the fire to the feet of MM.
I have assumed Lock would be groomed with a series a half, starting next year.
There's no doubt Lock is flying under the radar of your average SEC fan/rantard.
