I know of the procedure (it was really, really new when I was a trainer and not cost effective) but haven't known anyone who has actually had it done at this point. It's an interesting concept and obviously anything you can do to avoid surgery while promoting healing sounds like a solid plan. Keep us updated, please. I'm interested in hearing how it goes.

The company I work for used to do it for topical wounds (like diabetic foot wounds). It worked great. They mixed it with thrombin and copper peptides to form a gel and applied it topically... Saved many a foot from being amputated.

Only recently heard of it being used on orthopedic injuries and decided to try it.

Will update once I have an idea if it's working or not.
