Vegas has Alabama as nearly a 10-point favorite, so.

It would be higher if Bama's Qb situation was not an unknown. Ole Miss has some very good players but they are not close to the overall quality and quantity of talent that is on the Bama roster.

The games is in Tuscaloosa, Bama will be motivated to avenge the lone regular season loss from last year. Bama has superior coaching and talent. Only way Ole Miss keeps it within 10 is if Bama has multiple turnovers. Look back at Bama's losses since 08 (7 regular season losses in 7 years) and you will see that turnover margin is negative for Bama in those games.

It will be a relatively low scoring game and close for the 1st half(13-6) Then Bama dominates the 2nd half in route to a comfortable double digit win. 30-16

Superior depth, for sure. You can't just say "Bama is more talented" when talking about the 1st string. OM has better receivers & tight end (OJ Howard's a freak, I know, but he hasn't produced). Your linebackers are monster run stuffers but are slow in coverage. I like how our passing matches up against your secondary.

You've got a great DL against the run but they don't put enough pressure on QBs. Also, your DL is a natural 3-4 but you mostly have to play a 4-3 against a spread team like OM.

Our DL is salty and loaded with seniors and juniors in the 2-deep. Henry couldn't do squat against us last year. I'm more worried about Drake.

I'm confident that our secondary will be better than yours.

Your OL will be a lot better, of course, except at LT (and Robinson is still elite even if not good as Tunsil).

All of that said, I don't blame Bama for being confident given OM's record of futility in Tuscaloosa.
