Probably the fact that Saban and Smart have produced a national top five defense 6 times since 2007. Led the SEC in defense from 2008-2013. Finished 12th in the country last year and 3rd in the conference and bring back most all of that defense.

And why do people continue to make these arguments about sacks? I'm not even sure Alabama has finished in the top three in the conference in sacks at all since 2007. It sure as hell hasn't hindered the defense.

Sacks are the only thing that matters apparently, one player who is awesome on a team of average players. Sound familiar any teams out there lol. I'll take less sacks and more NC/ SEC C.

OK but last year your front 7 was no dominant and you lost your sack leader,your second best tackler, and one of the best in the box safeties .

Bama could end up having a great front 7 but as of now the re e is nothing that points to bama's front 7 being dominant or it coming close to 2011. That's what my response was to.
