Just a refresher course for tRant.
Space Dobbs
That's what we call 4.3 speed at the QB position folks. The guy looks like he's taking a boring jog in the park most of the time while completely out running defensive angles.
Also has elite intelligence, quickness, and foot speed. Good arm strength.
His deep ball accuracy could use work and he's improved upon that this offseason.
Really don't see what's NOT to like about the kid.
Get over your hatred of everything orange and white and watch the guy play.
15 more days.
...so ready to bump some of these dumbass threads.

He'd be undefeated in the Big 10. He doesn't run a 4.3, but he is very fast. He's a good looking college qb and he appears to be one of the most athletic qbs the SEC has to offer. I think Jeremy Johnson is more likely to be a disappointment than Dobbs, but Dobbs will have to do a lot for Tennessee to be successful.

Awesome video.
The reason he is talked up aren't his stats from last year it is more his character mixed with this potential.
He obviously was not a finished product last year, thus the reason the coaches were trying to redshirt him.
From those at the Manning QB camp and the Elite 11 camp they all say his throwing game has vastly improved.
Combine that with the hope that our OL will improve somewhat and our RB's and WR's are only even more deadly. Many expect a big year from him.
Will he have Peyton Manning or Aaron Rogers type throw statistics or NFL potential? No. But he has a chance to be a really great college QB that can get TN a lot of W's which is all that really matters right?
Go Vols!

I will bet you any amount of money that Josh Dodds can not run a 4.3 40.
