ETA Just like it wasn't bama fans hyping him last year, it was the media. You bama fans get together and get your story straight. He was damn sure being hyped by somebody.........but you already know this.

He was being hyped by Jimbo Fisher, fans, sports radio what have you but flat out lie that "collective media" decided he was going to win Heisman or even be a finalist in August. Just admit youre wrong. Its ok

Was he being hyped during fall practice? Was he dominating Sims and showing promise?


Or was Sims slowly winning the job while everybody went "holy cow I think Sims is winning the job."

I have no clue if Barnett is the truth or not but some of y'all in this thread have no clue what you're talking about. The hype the 2 had and are getting are because of completely different reasons.
