Since the 92 Merger, I can only think of 3 true Freshman QB's doing real well in the SEC:
Danny Wuerffel
Peyton Manning
Eric Ainge
Somebody help me out if there was another TRUE FR QB in the SEC that did real well.

He was only in there in goal line or short yardage situations. Chris Leak was still QB during Tebow's freshman year.

Played sparingly behind Leak his TF year. Leak was the starter for the 2006 championship team.
