Looking forward to those 120 yard passing games. This time, Chavis won't be there to bail out that shite show of an offense.

I can't wait until ASU throws for 400yds on y'all opening night.

It felt like the right thing to do when y'all have been so generous in adding to the page count of Chavis threads for the past few months.

It's possible. I was at the game that ASU threw for 461 yards against Pelini's defense.

I heard the QBs look great, the offense explosive, and the defense might be better than the 85 Bears.

As much as your normal rhetoric is shite....this is spot on. I just as soon believe that a real jackass was actually flying down Nicholson Dr with real wings than to believe any report I hear from a closed LSU practice.

Shite we heard every year that JJ was literally morphing into Dan Marino in camp only to be brought back to reality come game 1.

Who's your forum hero?

This is what I don't understand. There is absolutely no reason to be excited about the QB situation until we are shown actual results. My dad called me yesterday all excited about the offense, and all I could do was laugh.

I follow this shite fairly closely and never heard this coming out of fall camp.

But I do agree with the sentiment. I'll believe it when I see it. But I am optimistic. But I also know Harris is still just a sophomore.

I remember someone reporting he looked good at the Manning camp but that's about it.

No one i know is. Literally no one. Some are optimistic it will be better than last year but it would kinda be hard to not be improved.

Well what does that say about your dad? Honestly.

I've no idea what you mean.

SwaggerCopter, christ man. What's so bad about being excited and optimistic? I bet you're a real blast at parties.

And that was early too right? Like after his sophomore year or something. Other than that I don't remember any offseason hype for Jefferson or any LSU QB besides Mett. Unless we go back further to Flynn/Russell.

I won't deny that my dad is a shitty sports fan. Probably played a big role in my choosing not to go to LSU. Kinda ruined it for me.

I am actually a very positive and hopeful person IRL. But I don't get hopeful about absurd things.

You consider aTm having a good offense absurd?

Let me guess, harris led them to a 70+ point victory over the new improved defense

You have no idea where the middle ground is. I agree with the "dont spout off about the qb position being better until they show it".

but it's also not absurd to be hopeful the #3 dual threat qb in his class can be good.
