Too many people today only care about materialistic things and what other people think about them and their social media page.

Maybe it's just all the drugs I used to do, but I think about all this stuff all the time.
Spring Break 2010 me and 3 close friends got a cabin in the smokey mountains, every night we did acid and ended up on he back porch looking at the sky and discussing things like this.

I've recently moved out into the county and am back reading more and watching lots of YouTube vids on it. I like the number conversions that put distances and speeds into perspective the most I think.

There's so much new information driven by technology in the past 10 years making it harder to follow now than ever too. I'm not smart enough to had finished a major in any of those directions, but there aren't many things I find more interesting that's for sure.

This puts you in a category with some very amazing people down through the ages. (Not the LSD specifically; it wasn't discovered until the 20th Century. But nature is loaded with similar substances and man has been utilizing these for millenia.) Thinkers have always been the minority. Most people ARE too preoccupied with meaningless bullshite. To them you (like Socrates) are wasting your energies worrying about nothing.

Absolutely I believe that the universe is mental energy. The GOD thing, whatever it is, didn't make it with its hands. It dreamed it all up. It is dreaming it still. The guy who wrote "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" knew what the hell he was talking about. Life IS but a dream.

One of the illustrations I coined and have used is this: Think of a video game. Say Pacman. The pacman is nothing more than electricity. Some electrified pixels on a monitor. Pure energy. The walls of the maze are the same thing. No more, no less. It's all just energy. The ghosts likewise...

To the Pacman, however, the walls are solid. He cannot pass through them. He hits one and he stops. They're steel. They're concrete. They may as well be uranium.

From our (God's) perspective both the pacman and the walls are just energy and they are one and the same. To the pacman, however, the walls are walls. They're impenetrable.

Same thing going on everywhere. You are a thought of GOD. The tree is a thought of GOD. That you can't walk through the tree is because "the program" will not allow it. The program, too, of course, the thought of GOD.

Now, as to the "brain" question? I don't know. Big big dif between "mind" and "brain". But why the hell not? The whole big thing is the passing fancy of a real big thinking thing.
