The only difference in the series is the fact that bama lucked into 2 of the top 5 or 6 coaches of all time for an extended period..
PS-Gene Stallings was 1-5-1 against LSU while at A&M, and 6-1 against LSU while at Alabama, so there goes that excuse.

It's not an excuse, it's a fact.
Alabama and LSU aren't much different in terms of facilities, support, access to talent, ect. Both are the big dogs in their respective neighborhoods. Things like that. The difference is that you were in the right place at the right time for some of the best coaches ever.
