I've had this conversation before.

The 2001 Hurricanes would likely lose to any NC team going back to the 08 Gators.

I realize it's only a matter of 7+ years, but the advancements in both the game, and strength and conditioning have made teams much faster and more powerful than those teams of the early 2000s. Any team in the last 5 years or so would probably dominate them completely.
