I think Mizzou fans actually feel not as confident this year either.

True we do have holes to fill at WR & DL

On offense they lost their 3 biggest playmakers I believe (Hansborough, Sasser, Murphy) a

Hansborough is back as is 4 of 5 starting OL, who on here last year besides Mizzou fans had heard of Sasser???

I don't doubt Pinkel can have them in the race and even win the East, but any team who loses that much quality (outside of maybe Bama) in the league is going to project to be worse the next season.

Legit and true statement

Here is the issues though Mizzou's schedule sets up way and I mean way better then either UGA or UT. Both teams have more talent but experience and coaching are on the side of Mizzou. I say it is a toss up between the three with UT slightly behind. Sorry Vol fans but you have to Show Me you can do it first. Also with the Mizzou decade of hell from the 80's/90's people just refuse to believe in Mizzou. The only way to rid the taint of that era is to win the big one. Mizzou has gotten close but has yet to break through.

I should have known Hansborough was back and I'm sure I've posted about it before. Sorry I missed that. And I'd heard of Sasser. He was really good. That doesn't mean Brown or Moore can't get there, but that combined with Mauk not looking great last year makes me more doubtful than I would have been previously.

The schedule definitely sets up favorably for y'all, and I wouldn't be shocked if y'all did win the east again. It's just that as of now, it would be overly impressive to me if y'all did that after losing so many talented players and inserting people in a lot of positions who don't have a ton of experience.
