How different was it? I grew up going to games, and last year felt like we were in a completely new stadium with completely new fans.

I can't imagine a more oppressive place.

I've been numerous times when AU played there. It does look better fully enclosed now but if definitely isn't the nicest or the loudest. I thought the cowbells would have been louder since it was finally enclosed, but they weren't.

That's what bandwagoners with cowbells will do.

I have to imagine watching a game there is akin to watching world cup games with vuvuzelas constantly going in the background.

I can't wait to visit there. I bet the fans are a blast to hang out with

I still don't think you're cool.

It was a shite show. I was there when they upset UGA what 5 or 6 years ago?
Had a 250+ Pound milk cow ring a cowbell in my GFs face at the time. She declared she would never go back.
So good job I guess? Still a shithole.

Much louder than in years past.
Stadium experience is nice. Nothing other wordly... but plenty of amenities needed for a game. I personally don't expect/want to get pampered just to watch some college football.
Always good to find some hole in the wall place to eat at afterwards. That my friends is what college football is all about and Starkville delivered.

Didn't go last year because LSU was not playing there, but in the past the rednecks banging cows out in the open was a little weird.
I have only been in DWS twice (2012 JSU and 2013 LSU) and both times I thought the same things. The cowbells are annoying and stupid and too damn that jumbotron is big.

Your stadium is no louder than any other small six SEC school

Without cowbells, you're right.

The butt-hurt is strong in this thread.
DWS hold its own within the SEC.

My honest opinion, we were driving down a pretty nice four lane road running east to west, stop at a stop sign out in the middle of nowhere and off to the left was a football stadium with seemingly nothing else in site. Not vey impressed.
