Me too. It looks like it could be a slight shift in philosophy. I wonder what Sumlin's thoughts were on utilizing the run more. He's said in the past that run games were obsolete and that you could replace that production in the pass game with more success. Interesting to see him reverse course a bit (at least on paper).

I've never heard him say run games were obsolete. I have heard him say we need to be more consistent running many times though.

Now that's just bs, post a link Rick cause you know you're making sheet up.



Sumlin has said often in many interviews when asked about pass vs run that his offensive philosophy is to score as often and as fast as possible and he'll use whatever approach gets him that result vs the team he's facing at the moment.
