Indians, and then all the revolutionary war generals who moved to Clemson/Anderson area and got it going, fact that Fort Mill plantation on Clemson's campus near the football stadium was owned by John Calhoun, who was vice president, etc. Dr. Clemson married Calhoun's daughter, and Dr. Clemson was first secretatary of the US department of agriculture if memory serves. Anderson SC near Clemson is known as electric city and it was the first city in the US to have a continuous supply of electric power.

auburnphan can't hold a conversation about anything but gets all mad at people who can. given I lived in Huntsville for 2 years I know most auburn people are more genteel than this uncouth boor
