ITT, Dawgs are toeing the company line about replacing starters and players and Tigahs are relying on games in the past to predict future success.

While claiming that us expecting Hevesey to field a competent line, based on previous success, is blind optimism.

Everyone says this. We all know it isn't true. LSU fans are relying on having recruited head and shoulders above State for the last 20 years or so to predict success against State. You can argue whether those things have a causal relationship or not but don't pretend like there is no basis upon which to assume LSU will be State.

ETA: I love when LSU loses players it is tdecline, you don't get better losing people, you can't make up that deficit. State loses players, replacing them with players that were much better than them. Got to love the rant.
