Hoover's a posh locale to have it...located in a retail-heavy, upscale community in one of the "Over-the-Mountain" wealthy suburbs along with Mountainbrook, Vestavia Hills.

It actually has the operation, infrastructure to efficiently deal with events like this...media, accommodations, etc.

And I think coaches like having to just go to the same central location every year.

I can choose 5 or 6 DFW areas more "posh" than Hoover.
