I don't now how true that is. Maybe we read different posts or, more likely, we remember certain posts more, but I think most Ags (me included) have been waiting for this season to see what Sumlin brings.

Those aren't serious, but many fans were pretty pissed about the effort level in games and how the team responded at certain points in the season. The saving grace was that we had elite guys at QB DL LB and DB coming in, then that fell apart because the DC search dragged on (we now know why). I don't think any of us wanted him fired, but we had to hit a home run with the DC hire to save face

If we made some shitty totally underwhelming hire and lost Mack and Murray there would have been many who wanted him gone

Damn. I never read those threads, but that is some hilarious melting for sure. I think some of my Ags were serious in there too.

It's one of the reasons I usually avoid this site during an A&M game. I might get too caught up in the moment as well.

Cooler heads prevail over time though.
