At this point you'd really think The Cops / DOJ / Judges would understand that the American people feel over policed, over regulated, over taxed and about fead the F up.

frick you for being a cop, specifically for being a shitty one if your posts are any indication of your persona, and frick the war on drugs. Nothing beneficial has been accomplished through it besides a militarized police force and a trampling of Constitutional rights. But keep up the good fight you pile of dog shite, I'm sure politicians have another illogical law waiting on the wings for you to say yes sir to.

You have owned this thread like a boss. This should not even be an issue. My opinion is the cop got put in a bad position by current law, policies and the stupid judge that issued the warrant. It is tragic that this poor guy is being punished for defending his family and property. When is enough, enough?

I know I may come off as a racist prick but I am not. I am and have lived in the hoods that are high crime because of my income. Maybe African-American people are different in other states but I stand by the issues I raised in the other post and not because I hate negros.
I was just giving you and others a hard time. fricking dead season. I normally don't post on OT or other boards. Believe me I know what you mean, that's why I don't want to live anywhere in Louisiana or a place like STL, KCMO, Tulsa...too much crime from poor blacks. I don't think I'm better than them, but just tired of the thuggish attitudes, hip hop culture trying to be tough, etc.
One thing I'll do 90% of the time is take the cops side in shootings, etc. I know how they feel going into those neighborhoods where people hate you, treat you like shite. I know someone running for Sheriff in Richland Parish, he's a local police chief...one of his officer's got killed by a thug from Monroe.
I've always said if people act right, do what they are told, they wouldn't have a problem with cops. In the Ferguson situation I blamed the people of STL, their community cause the cops to be rough, an officer have to be a certain way in high crime area or he'll get killed. I live in a town that's not even 1% black, don't have any problems with cops, county is about 2% black, no problems with the so called mean racist cops. A lot of stuff is media driven or the fault of locals for letting their kids act a certain way.
I LOVE my redneck part of Missouri, will probably die here.

Haven't read many of his posts, doubt if he's a bad cop.

He is. He also thinks that Memphis is some sort of cultural mecca instead of the dirty shithole which it actually is...

Cheers. I am furthering my education as we speak so that I can raise my kids in a better place. My wife even wants to move to Texas where we have family.

Never had a good impression of Memphis. When I was younger, uncle got his car stolen while in town for a church convention. Hard working man, very religious. When he got his car back, windows all busted out, damaged. It was sad. Then when I went to the New Orleans vs Griz game loooong ago, had some brothas coming up to me trying to sell tickets. Irritated me.
If I take the Memphis way to New Orleans, I'll gas up in Arkansas to make sure I have enough gas to make it through Memphis without stopping.

You should see how mad drug units get when their cases get thrown out by the DA's because they didn't follow proper protocol.

If they didn't identify when they no knocked his home he was in the right. The fact that they gave him time is bull shite. Wonder way the Feds didn't use their favorite toy the flash bang?
I understand they "announce" themselves, however biological reflex is something we all are prone to and regardless of the "announcement" breaking windows and smashing doors awakening someone from deep sleep will cause a biological urge reflex of self preservation. The law has to be changed to take this into account.

If you know you have this dirt then you know you have risk...
His risk analysis was faulty in this business transaction as he knew anytime he could be popped by law enforcement and having a fire arm in the presence of such a known dirt crime doubles the penalty factor.
Shitty choices/planning, coupled with using led to his certain demise and he knew it was coming from somewhere.

That's IF you believe the establishment's version of the story.
Let's say Subway donates to conservative causes and their spokesperson is a fat white man with a foundation that supports fat white people.
Black POTUS orders black AG to order black FBI agents to raid white man's place .... release (sic "leak") story about kiddy porn.
Problem solved.
Think about it.
Same thing they're trying to do to Trump.
They shoot you first then they cover their tracks with whatever story they want .... drug dealer, kiddy porn, racist, bigot, etc.
Now it's he was storing chemicals.
Next thing you know they'll be arresting farmers for having diesel fuel and fertilizer in their barns.
Or old men with "thousands of rounds of ammo," .... doesn't matter that it was 22 plinking ammo and it was only four small boxes totalling 2200 rounds .... they called him crazy and locked him up, took his house, shut him up.
Don't believe everything the government tells you via the media.

If they yelled "police", then he is obviously in the wrong...
But it's not natural to be cool with strangers breaking your window at dawn while you are asleep
If it's a pre-dawn raid and there is no evidence, then the police fricked it up

You should see how pissed our local sheriffs office gets when they do a no knock entry on a guy who is ready.
Happened here... guy had been raided before so he had boarded up his windows and had a 4x4 across the middle of the doors. He kept it across the door whenever he was inside the house.
Popo came and took one of those tubular door breaching things and hit door. Door did not move. The guy inside asked "who is it?" and the popo had to tell him.
He opened door and let them search, they found nothing.
I would have loved to see the breachers face when the tube bounced off the door.

How so? It's the easiest thing in the world for a home invader to yell "police!" A homeowner should be able to call the police and confirm a legal search has been issued for their home before standing down.

I agree with verifying that it is the police.
But I think verifying that it is, in fact, the police comes before blasting shots through the door
