Success certainly breeds good chemistry and Johnny brought success to most playcalls, so you can't completely discount it. But Kliff was universally hailed by the other coaches as a genius and they all deferred to him (maybe the success in 12 was why but they did).

It can be hard on personalities when you bring a kid in from the outside and a year later promote him to be your boss

Honestly, as long as Spav keeps getting these 5* qbs he'll have a spot on our coaching staff. He should just be our qb coach for the next 20 years and have us pay him like a OC. I really want Tate Martell. If he lands him we will have our qb situation figured out for about the next 6-8 years

Wants to stay in Texas and comes back
Spav works as a qb coach and recruits like a wizard
