FTR, I think he most likely did and is likely looking for money. The NCAA doesn't care about that though. Gurley's accuser was looking for money. It didn't help Gurley.

Did Gurley's accuser get money?

Why is it simply not possible that the guy is just mad after getting beat up by Tunsil (which is evident) and is getting even with Tunsil and his mom since he's on the outside looking in?

Btw, there's still the statement by the 13 year old son who stated the mom and dad were just "cussing" at each other. He didn't mention any hitting or shoving. Ladies and Gents that's the most unbiased person in the room as things unfolded that night.

Like Gurley's accuser, he's likely getting screwed out of money because of Tunsil cutting him out or an agent saying to cut him out. Who knows but that'd be the most likely motive.

I think that is possible. The real story here is that if there was something, having someone who was close to the offender that will flip on them makes it a bad deal. The NCAA has gotten beaten lately by closing of ranks. This situation is intriguing because there is a guy who has a motivation to bury the target of the investigation. That can obviously color the way one views what he says, but the flip side is if there is something to it, he might know where the so-called bodies are buried.
