You should ask how USCw felt about losing to Riley and destroying their seasons when they were ranked at the top of the nation.

Two blueblood programs tried to hire him TWICE and both failed.

Riley at his best got to play dragon slayer. I can't spell this out for you any clearer. Riley was offered interviews by USC and Bama when he was actually slaying dragons. He hasn't in awhile. He has lost to Oregon since 2008 - that's 8 straight year. He was bowl eligible barely once in the last 3 years. Oregon State is absolute garbage this year talent wise. Had he stayed there they probably go 3-9.

Riley needed to revive his career and most people see the writing on the wall.
