As soft as your defense was against the run in some games it's hard to tell. If the UGA team that played UF showed up to play BAMA it would be ugly so I would go with Missouri. UGA has more talent and would be better when at the top of there game but they choke away games like the UF one where they should win big. I think UGA would have a better chance of beating BAMA but also have a better chance of getting killed.

so if a team in the east beats UGA and finishes ahead of UGA in the final poll , while UGA wins the east , would the other team be better ?

I think the UF game is more of an outlier than anything. It certainly wasn't the norm last year.

We crushed Clemson, Auburn, Mizzou, and Arkansas.

Certainly, to your main point Bama would kill the UGA that showed up to the WLOCP. But IMO I think the 2014 UGA/Bama would have been a very good game.

Outliers happen. That's why you have to take all games into account rather than cherry picking one. Doing that, you will see Our d's were similar, but the Uga o was much better than mizzou's.
