That is their point. Why hasn't he turned them into that functioning unit? I mean, with the huge talent gap that he has he should win everything if he is as good a coach as many make him out to be.

True...but no other team does, either...not do they have the talent that Alabama has.

He's won three national titles and three SEC titles in 8 seasons at Alabama? In addition to 91 wins and countless individual awards and draft picks. What more could he do? It's already one of the best runs in conference history.

And why does Richt get a pass with you?

"Richt isn't as great of a recruiter as he should be, so he gets a pass for not having great results"

Isn't that what you are essentially saying by giving Richt a pass on his results because his recruiting has been somewhat lackluster? That is such a loser's mentality.

Because it is impossible to win everything every year. The greatest baseball team ever lost 40% of their games. It is especially hard in college football because one loss can knock you out of winning a natty title.
