You have one national title since 1950-something. At best you've been about even keel with us in that stretch, if not a little less based on wins and winning percentage.

No. That'd be two: 1957 and 2010. Should have claimed 1983 and 2004.

Georgia produces more SEC talent than any other state. UGA is the flagship school for that state. You should be better historically than you are. There really isn't much of an argument there.

You have one since 1958.

You may want to see how many SEC kids Florida produces first.

You have one title since 1957 is what I meant.

UGA also has to deal with more geographically central threats to its otherwise large recruiting base than just about any other state (save Texas which still has the added benefit of being roughly 5 times geographically larger). Maybe it produces so much SEC talent because it's so close to schools like Clemson, FSU, UF, Auburn, Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee plus the in state schools of UGA and Tech. No other state is as completely surrounded as GA is by major football programs. Every one of those schools is within a few hours of Atlanta and and an even shorter distance from the GA border. Remove the imaginary state lines from the map and UGA is just another dot in a massive recruitng hotbed.
