Mullen - My pick, as he's done a great job for MSU and would only win bigger elsewhere.

Freeze - Great recruiter, but still hasn't proven to be much of a SEC coach, imo.

Jones - See above^

If you're the AD of Florida, which of these do you choose? Posing the question that way, I bet a lot more would pick Mullen.

Except, the AD of Florida had that option and he hates Mullen.
He knew mullen from the Meyer days.

And the AD tried to get freeze...

Agree on Jones. Judgement starts this year for real. Jones fricked up the 2013 Vandy game and last years coat hanger abortion of a game against Florida. Other than that every game he lost the previous two years we were simply undermanned. Still have no idea how we beat a South Carolina team that ended the season #4 in 2013. The being "undermanned" thing though expires this year. We have the talent and schedule(while still not a cake walk) to win at least 8. Will we? Maybe not but the general consensus is expecting 8 wins this year and hopefully the train will be fully back on the tracks by 2016. The fact we are in the recently down East makes the 8 win benchmark a reasonable expectation.

He has yet to win a division crown but in his three years at Ole Miss, he's defeated LSU, Alabama, State (twice), Arkansas (twice), A&M and Auburn. In addition to that, he increased our win total from 2 in Nutt's last year to 7 in his first year, then 8, then 9.

Our program was a complete shithole when he took over. Hardly a lick of talent, awful attitudes, drug problems, thug problems, and only a handful or two of scholarship players attending class. What he's done in three years is pretty impressive considering we had the top two players in the country (from Texas and New Jersey no less) visit in the last few weeks and it is ho-hum.

I thought Mullen had reached his ceiling as a coach but then last year happened and it's hard not to be impressed with that. Jones has done wonders for the culture at UT and they appear to be trending the right direction. This year will be telling for what kind of coach he is.
