It's not just a right/left thing when it comes to this particular issue (although of course liberals are fricking annoying with attempts to change things just for change's sake).

You're definitely right. I misspoke. But I'd venture to guess that the majority are liberal.

Agreed. I'm a Republican (white). My irritation is that this subject is being brought up because of the actions of an evil, sociopath and the left choosing to make it a straw man.
And well, Republicans can't seem to keep their eyes on the ball. For once, I think it would be great if a Republican could have made it an issue for the sake of making things right and just, at another place and time, and not to react to the poking by the left.
