It wouldn't and even if Mississippi had some unforeseen boom in natural resources and a huge population surge it would still be considered stupid, racist, and fat. Our state government is inept at best and willfully stupid at worst so even the removal of a flag would be bungled.

I don't think it would. If we changed it all that would happen is people would laugh at Mississippi for only just now changing it. Not applaud it.
