those numbers are still better than AJ

AJ sat out half as many total quarters that Manziel did in a single FCS game. Alabama didn't play 2 FCS teams like A&M. He also sat in other games as well.

Still, he passed for 26 TD's and nearly 3,000 yards awhile only throwing 3 INTs all year. Good enough for 2nd in passer efficiency.

And that is the kind of thing you need in a QB and offense that wins Championships.

So yeah, he had better stats, but AJ performed much better. If not for the 2 INT's vs A&M, he wouldn't have thrown any during the regular season.

30 TDs and 3 INTs all year. I'll take it all day long.

Come on now. Manziel was a better college QB than McCarron in 2012. AJ didn't have to do as much with Lacy, Yeldon, Cooper, and that great OL to help out. That being said, Manziel wouldn't have done well at Bama because he would to play in a structured offense rather than do whatever he wanted like he did at A&M.

No he didn't. Spin it as many ways as possible and it still isn't true. McCarron got the job done, but he doesn't compare to JFF. Its as simple as it gets.

You get those stats by never having to force a throw because your defense is great and your offense isn't relying on you to win games single handedly. JM was A&M's offense. During his time at A&M johnny had 1 teammate run for more than 550 yards.
