That couldn't hit

You do realize that is only one facet of the game. The hit timely, they pitched well, and the played good enough defense to finish 3rd in the Pac with a top 30 RPI. Just because they're hitting wasn't all work does not mean it was a blessing like you keep saying. TCU isn't great hitting team either, but that didn't stop them from beating A&M and LSU.

A team that is flawed offensively against a team that is complete. It also happens that Cal's flaw fits perfectly into the only tiny weakness aggy had, pitching. I can't understand it for you. No one had problems beating Cal this year (36-21). If you think you got a juggernaut 3 seed because you got Cal, I don't know what to tell you.

ETA: Are you seriously comparing TCU to Cal? That's laughable. TCU second in ERA in the nation, second in K/9, top 5 in just about every relevant pitching stat and at least 100 spots higher than Cal in just about all of the hitting categories like batting average. TCU 41st in runs scored, Cal tied for 121. Nevermind, no sense in having this discussion.
