This car just seems perfect to me. I'd pay out the arse just to be able to drive one for a day or two.

Top shelf auto, the sixties really had some visionary styling and the 1961 Ferrari GT California Spider belongs in the discussion I think.

Yes. A Sunbeam Tiger. Tiny English car mated to a 289 cu inch (4.7L) Ford V8 by none other than Carroll Shelby.
