Florida under McElwain

If it is...it won't be this year. By the trend, Florida won't even reach the CG this year. How long it has taken coaches to reach the SEC CG their first time? Only Miles and Malzahn have reached the CG in their first season at a school. Nobody has ever made it to the CG their first year in the East.

East
Florida - Spurrier- Inaugural CG was his 2nd season*
Tennessee - Fulmer - First CG was his 5th season
Georgia - Richt - First CG was his 2nd season
Florida - Meyer - First CG was his 2nd season
South Carolina - Spurrier - First CG was his 6th season at USCe
Missouri - Pinkel - First CG was his 2nd season in SEC

West
Bama - Stallings - Inaugural CG was his 3rd season
Arkansas - Ford - First CG was his 3rd season
Auburn - Bowden - First CG was his 5th season
Miss St. - Sherrill - First CG was his 7th season
Bama - DuBose - First CG was his 3rd season
Auburn - Tuberville - First CG was his 2nd season
LSU - Saban - First CG was his 2nd season
Arkansas - Nutt - First CG was his 5th season
LSU - Miles - First CG was his 1st season
Bama - Saban - First CG was his 2nd season
Auburn - Chizik - First CG was his 2nd season
Auburn - Malzahn - First CG was his 1st season

*Spurrier would have gone in his first year, but there was no SEC CG until the following year.
