Can't private schools give arse tons of money for academic scholarships? And LSU shouldn't act all high and mighty. Don't your baseball players basically get free tuition with some in state program?

Yes, if they're from louisiana and qualify for it. Not the same discussion as convincing kids to turn down millions/hundreds of thousand dollars. Not sure how Vandy does it but i wish we could get their secret.

TOPS is really a unique thing, a lot of states have these kind of scholarships for good grades. I think the point is though here is Vandy is getting kids to turn down hundreds of thousands to millions to come to an expensive school. And it happens often.
