The ACC has not won a CWS since WF did it in 1951 .... the year before I was born.

I personally would think being associated with the ACC in anything is not good save the four or five yearly football/baseball rivalries SC/CU, UGA/Ga Tech, UF/FSU, KY/LOU, Vandy and whomever it is they play every year, Wake maybe?

The CWS has been SEC/PAC dominated for awhile now. The ACC has not been a factor for the most part.

ACC hasn't won CWS since 1950's, but to say their teams haven't been a factor is just stupid. Miami hasn't won it as an ACC member, but has a number of championships and a proud baseball history. Clemson has been to Omaha numerous times and right at the doorstep of getting to the championship game twice only to be knocked out by USC. FSU, UVa, and UNC have all advanced to the championship game only to be runner-ups. GT has kind of disappeared the last couple of years, but they were a baseball power for years.

No, the ACC hasn't won it in a long time. But they have had a number of teams that have done quite well once they get to Omaha. They just simply can't seem to win the last game.
