I have a very good friend who was a former Vandy player in the early 00's. He goes back regularly to check up on the football team.

During Franklin's tenure, he told me about a big-time shift in academics which put a lot of Vandy players in classes outside of Vandy proper. Maybe Berry College or something like that? He joked that it was a whole different world from when he was there.

I can believe that. I don't want to, but I can. But Berry College? That's a bit of a drive and, as far as I know, the two don't have any sort of "arrangement". Hard to transfer credits without some sort of system in place. Maybe there were some shenanigans over at Peabody instead.

Peabody

This sounds more familiar than Berry.
