My favorite beachy/summer drink is a Hemingway. It is a rum drink with fresh grapefruit juice, lemon juice, and maraschino liqueur. I order mine with salt on the rim. I drink it instead of a margarita when I am in the mood because I am more of a rum fan than tequila.

Another option if you are in more of a whiskey/whisky mood is to order it on the rocks with a splash of water and a lime.
