Well that is stupid. There is no reason why Alabama can't drop Chattanooga or Middle Tennessee and play one of these in state schools. It is good for the state.

Pay an in state school that money instead of some crappy out of state school.

UAB would get more money from an out of state school than they would from Alabama.

Alabama AND Auburn football have done plenty for the State of Alabama.

How is it stupid? Why would Alabama want to help any other instate school out? Can you explain to me how it benefits Bama in anyway?
