Former Vandy BB player Dai Jon Parker passed away

According to Vandy asst coach Julian Terrell on Twitter, Dai Jon Parker has passed away. No details yet. He transferred from Vandy in 2014 to Univ of Indy. So sad.

Whoa...damn. Best wishes to his family. I really enjoyed how he played, even if he didn't leave Vandy on the best terms.

Incredibly sad to hear this. RIP to Dai, and I'll be praying for his friends in family. What a heartbreaking loss.

Well, that sucks. I hadn't even thought about him since he was dismissed. I don't even know where he ended up.
Edit: should read closer. University of Indianopolis? I assume this was so he could play immediately? Did he?

Yup. Apparently he drowned in Indiana. He was 22.
