had two glasses of woodford reserve this morning. amazingly amazingly smooth blend. forgot how much i like this over wild turkey and the like.

The double-oaked version is also tasty, if you can find it.

Someone (Belle?) earlier in the thread mentioned Basil Hayden and I can't believe I left that off my list. Not only is the mass-marketed version very good, but I had the opportunity to taste some specially-aged 26 (?) year Basil Hayden that an old law school classmate of mine ended up with. It was outstanding.
