Glad to have those guys, but UGA hasn't signed a top 100 player since KCP in 2011. Harris is close so maybe that will change in 2016.

I'm not faulting Fox's effort. I'm faulting the results. I criticize the football program when it's warranted. They just miss a hell of a lot lower %.

I know UGA's basketball program isn't a power and don't expect them to recruit like one. They should recruit at least a little better than they currently are though imo if only due to location. The talent level isn't high enough for UGA to take the next step as a basketball program.

More BS. The program already has taken the next step. We have gone from one of the worst teams in the SEC to a tournament team. Has it been a slow process? Absolutely, but we have made huge strides, and now we are starting to see better recruits take notice. None of the guys we have coming in next year are slouches. They were all recruited by serous basketball programs.

Turtle Jackson had offers from Florida, Uconn, Tech, Kansas, etc...

E'torrion Wilridge had offers from Iowa State, Marquette, Oklahoma, etc...

Derek Ogbeide had offers from Tulane, Memphis, Virginia Tech, etc...

Michael Edwards had offers from Kansas State, Pitt, SMU, etc...

Jordan Harris had offers from Uconn, Tennessee, Maryland, Memphis, etc...

The point I am making is that the recruiting is better and probably on par with our current "standing". Plus, Fox clearly has the ability to improve players. Top 100 recruits won't come here until we have some sustained success and make a tournament run or two. Wouldn't it be nice if we could get the fanbase on board now. This is actually a really exciting time for the program, but instead people just want to harp on any "failure" they can find.

As far as the football recruiting is concerned, they miss on PLENTY of recruits. There is just a much much larger pool to choose from.
